Micromax Yu Yureka smartphone had its fourth flash sale on Thursday at 2pm IST on Amazon India and 15,000 units were sold out in just 4 seconds as per company’s latest figures which were announced via it’s official Twitter account.

The registrations for the next sale of Yureka smartphone will begin on Thursday at 5pm via Amazon India confirmed by the company.
The Micromax’s Yu Yureka is priced at Rs. 8,999. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that features Cat. 4 4G LTE connectivity, and runs Cyanogen OS 11 based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It sports a crisp wide 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) and an Adreno 405 GPU. The Micromax smartphone is paired with a 2GB of RAM. It includes a sharp 13-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and flash and also a front-facing 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera. It has a 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The device is backed up by a 2500mAh Li-Po battery.
Last week, the Micromax’s Yu Yureka third flash sale saw 10,000 smartphone went out of stock in 3 seconds. Whereas 15,000 units were grabbed in just 4 seconds in the very second flash sale. But the first flash sale saw a lot of controversy with the site glitches including incorrect price listing and allegations the company actually made 3,000 units available for sale where as it had seen 10,000 units go out of stock.
On Wednesday, Micromax’s Yu Yureka underwent its first OTA (over-the-air) update that brought incremental bug fixes. Meanwhile, the update was an incremental update and added security fixes, enhancement for proximity sensor and dual-SIM functionality. The update comes with build number XNPH05Q and approximately 73MB in size.
