At Mobile World Congress Barcelona, HTC One M9 has been launched as the new One flagship! With new features and improved design, HTC One M9 retains the same naming concept from its predecessors, and is expected to roll out globally from mid-march. The price tag of this device has not been revealed by the company yet!
Just like its predecessor, HTC One M9 also sports all-metal unibody finish combined with curved edges. On first look, it doesn’t looked different, but will be available in various colors including the dual tone silver and Rose Gold, single-tone Gunmetal grey and gold, and dual tone gold and pink. During the event, HTC also announced a number of accessories, including the second generation HTC Dot View case for the new flagship!
HTC One M9 runs android Lollipop polished with the brand new Sense 7 UI on the top. Upgraded Blinkfeed and improved hardware are key highlights of this device. It has also been powered with a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, and 3GB of RAM.
HTC One M8 featured 2 GB RAM, but its successor carries 3GB of RAM, and comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The full-HD display of 5-inches featured with this device offers a rich viewing experience, and is completely identical to the display of One M8. Its 20-megapixel rear camera with sapphire cover lens, BSI sensor, f2.2 aperture, dual-LED flash and 4K video recording makes it one of best camera devices of the world. Plus, there is also a 4 ultra-pixel front-facing camera to capture brilliant selfies.
As compared to HTC One M8, its successor offers more support with a 2840mAH battery. It features standard connectivity options with Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G and LTE, and retains HTC’s trademark dual front-facing speakers and BoomSound with Dolby surround sound stimulation.
HTC One M9 isn’t a big upgrade for M8 users, but its unique design and specifications surely make it one of the best smartphones in the mobile industry!
