Dell has further strengthened its hold in the tablet market with the launching of new Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet. The tablet will be available for purchase starting this May in China, Canada and the US. As of now there is no word whether this new tablet will be rolled out globally or not. It carries a price tag of $499 (31,000 INR approx.) and comes bundled with a magnetic keyboard with total price towering up to $629 (38,000 INR approx.)
This new tablet from Dell comes with a unique barrel edge design which according to company will make it easier to hold and carry around. Apart from it this tablet can be used in five different configurations which are Tablet, Slate, Stand, Tent and Clamshell mode with the keyboard attached. This is usually new and will be a major point for wooing the customers who are looking for than just a tablet. This new tablet will be a delight for the music lovers also as it features front-facing dual speakers.
Moving on to the specifications, Dell venue 10 7000 flaunts a 10.5 inch OLED display with an amazing resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and runs on Android for Work based on Android Lollipop 5.0. This new tablet is powered by a quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with a native storage of 16 GB. Apart from these Dell Venue 10 7000 features an 8 MP Real Sense camera with 2 MP front facing camera. It is drawing power from a massive 7000mAh battery underneath which will provide enough juice to keep it running for a very long time off charge.
