The former Sony Laptop unit, Vaio looks all set to launch its first ever smartphone on March 12. A Japanese publication has highlighted specifications of the upcoming Vaio smartphone, and has also claimed that the company will be launching it on March 12.
According to the Blog of Mobile, the unnamed Vaio smartphone will feature a full-HD display of 5-inches, and will be powered with a 1.2GHz snapdragon 410 processor of 64-bit. The device will run Android 5.0 out- of-the-box, and will offer 2GB of RAM and 16GB on internal storage.
The rear camera of this device will be a 13megapixel shooter, while the front-facing camera will be of 5MP. Connectivity options of the smartphone will also include all standard features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and LTE connectivity. Apart from this, battery life, price, and expandable storage capacity of the device were not highlighted in the Blog!
Sony sold the VAIO branding to Japanese Industrial partners a year ago, and since then, there has been a buzz that VAIO could bring up two mid-range smartphones with top-notch specifications. However, now it’s clear that VAIO smartphone will be rolling out on March 12!
