First Open Sale for Lenovo K3 Note to Begin on Monday

lenovo_k3_note_flipkartLenovo India has proclaimed its first open sale for its flagship device K3 Note smartphone through Flipkart on Monday. The smartphone comes in Black and White colours at the ‘Independence Day Special open sale’, as claimed by the company. The company has announced through Twitter that the open sale will continue till Tuesday.

However, details about when the open sale to start are not divulged by the company, but the company has only that the sale to begin on Monday. Lenovo on Wednesday gave an official statement that the Lenovo K3 Note received remarkable response from the consumers as the company claimed that it got over 2 million registrations in the first five weeks since launch and that it has sold over 200,000 units until now.

The open sale doesn’t require registration to purchase the device during the sale. However, the company has not yet revealed the number of units that will be up for sale on Monday and Tuesday.

Lenovo K3 Note was launched in China in March, and in India, the handset was launched in late-June with a price tag of Rs.9, 999. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop that’s skinned with the Vibe UI and supports both LTE bands (FDD-LTE 1800MHz Band 3, and TDD-LTE 2300MHz Band 40).

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 401ppi, while, the device is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 2GB RAM.

Moving on to camera features, Lenovo K3 Note sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera, whilst, the storage option includes 16GB internal memory and the external storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32 GB).

Lenovo bears connectivity options such as 4G (TD-LTE/ LTE), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The K3 Note measures 152.6×76.2×7.99mm and weighs 150 grams.

The device is backed by a 2900mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 39 hours of talk time on 2G and 16 hours on 3G, apart from 11 days of standby time.
