HP launches Tablets Ahead Of CES- Stream 8 And Pro 408 G1

HP Stream 8 Tablet.Recently, the tech giant HP has introduced its new tablet, the HP Stream 8 with a price tag of Rs 16,990. The tablet runs on Windows 8.1. The tablet went on for sale on the brand’s official website without any prior notice.

It was in September 2014, that the tablet was unveiled with a 7 inch version called the Hp Stream7. At that time, the company had tagged the Stream 7 and Stream 8 at Rs. 6,100 and Rs. 9,200 respectively.

The HP Stream 8 operates on single-SIM and offers Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box. It comes with an 8 inch HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display.

The HP Stream 8 is backed by Intel Atom Z3735G processor paired with Intel HD graphics along with 1GB DDR3 RAM. The gadget comes with a 5MP rear and a 2MP selfie camera. Further, it offers 32GB internal storage that can be expanded to 32GB.

Connectivity stands strong in the HP Stream 8 with 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS along with Micro-USB. The device is powered by a 4000mAh Li-ion battery. The HP Stream 8 measures 124x209x8.9mm and weighs around 388 grams.

HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 Tablet.Taking the tablet trend further, the HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 has been seen on the brand’s website. This is just when CES 2015 is round the corners.

The brand has secretly enlisted the gadget with no prior notice of launch and price. As per rumours, it is quite possible that HP would showcase the HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 at CES (January 6-9).

The device is rumoured to  operate on Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 8.1 Pro with Bing out-of-the-box. It offers an 8 inch HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display together with 10-point multi touch.

The HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 would come packed with Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor paired with Intel HD graphics along with 2GB RAM. Further, it offers an 8MP back camera and a 2MP front camera. The HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 is expected to come in two versions- the 32GB and 64GB versions.

The HP Pro Tablet would offer Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 4.0 along with other connectivity options. The tablet is also rumoured to offer TPM security  and support  an optional 3G modem. The 140x215x9mm long device would come packed with a 4800mAh Li-ion battery. The company listing has a mention of an optional HP Pro Tablet 408 Active Pen.
