HTC Desire 823 Smartphone launched on Thursday with a price tag of Rs 26, 900. The smartphone to be available through the retailers, and by the end of this month other regions will also be available in next few months. Earlier in April, the single SIM HTC Desire 826 was launched with a price tag of Rs 25, 990. The Dual SIM and Single SIM Desire 826 share the same specification but, the former just includes an SIM slot.
The HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the UI of HTC skinned on top of it. The device features a 5.5-inch HD (1080×1920) display, whilst it is powered by an octa core (1.5GHz quad-core and 1.0GHz quad-core) 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.A 13-megapixel (f/2.2) rear camera with 28mm lens, BSI sensor, and LED flash are included in the handset.
The internal storage is of 16GB and can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Whereas, connectivity options includes: 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB, and the device is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
Following the HTC smartphone’s USP, HTC Desire 826 also have HTC’s Dot View cases, and for music enthusiast the handset features dual front-facing stereo speakers powered by Dolby Audio. The smartphone comes in Blue Lagoon and White Birch variants.
The launch of HTC Desire 826 came hard on heels after the launch of One ME Dual SIM in India, on Wednesday, at a price of Rs 40,500. It’s expected that the device will be available in all the leading stores by the end of this month in Meteor Grey and Classic Rose Gold colour variants.
The One ME Dual SIM stated to be supported by the 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor, which is considered to be the highlight of the device.
