According to Flipkart’s pricing, the 16GB variant of the iPhone 6s is priced at Rs.64,836, 64GB variant at Rs 74,117 and the 128GB variant at Rs 83,401 respectively. The smartphones will come in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Grey colour variants. Whilst, the 16GB variant of the iPhone 6s Plus comes with a price tag of Rs 74,117, 64GB variant at Rs 83,401 and the 128GB variant at Rs 88,478 respectively.
The listings of the Flipkart are not set for pre-order instead it is for purchase. However, Apple has not divulged India pricing for the handsets, but it is anticipated that the handset will be priced almost similar as listed by Flipkart.
Meanwhile, Technology Personalized reported that Apple has sent out a circular to the re-sellers stating the updated price list of the other existing models as well. And according to the list, the iPhone 6 will cost Rs. 52, 000 while the iPhone 6 Plus will be priced at Rs. 62,000. iPhone 5s will be the starting model at price of Rs. 35,000 for the 16GB.
The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be launched on October 16, in India, and it will be considered as the fastest iPhone rollout ever for the Indian market, coming less than a month after the latest models became available globally.
Ingram Micro India Pvt. Ltd claims that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be offered starting at 12:01am local time on Friday, October 16 in over 2,500 retail locations across India. And more than 80 cities across India will witness the launch event.
A leading mobile retail brand senior executive said, “Except for the iPhone 6 16GB, the rest of the numbers are relevant. The iPhone 6 16GB is selling for around Rs 48500. Prices for the new phones are upward. The trend is similar to a commodity, and is fluctuating.”
