Lenovo has set the ball rolling and is all geared up to launch a new Snapdragon 4G LTE Smartphone at the CES 2015 event at Las Vegas on the 8th of January. This will be Lenovo’s third Smartphone launch after the upgraded Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro and the Lenovo P90 yesterday, at the same event.
The Press Release issued by the company gives a teaser of what one can expect along with the following words: Come and Witness the Next Generation and signed by Lenovo along with Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor and CES 2015. This has set pulse racing as the tech world is waiting to witness Lenovo’s first 4G LTE Smartphone.
Yet no words or rumours has been afloat as to what exactly can this phone be and what features it may carry but it is believed that it will give a strong headlong competition to the newly released LG G Flex 2 Smartphone, also at CES 2015 event. LG G Flex 2 is based on a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset having 4G-LTE Connectivity.
Yesterday, Lenovo introduced its new addition to the Vibe series with the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro along with the Lenovo P90. The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro is powered by a 1.5GHZ octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset along with a 2GB RAM. The 5.3 inch Smartphone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with an overlaid 2.0 user interface. Lenovo P90 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS LCD display and also runs on Android 4.4. KitKat. Powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with Intel’s 5-mode XMM 7262 modem and 2GB of RAM, P90 will also support the LTE-Advanced FDD/TDD connectivity.
So let’s keep our fingers crossed and see what is in store for the enthusiasts by the end of the CES 2015 event from the impressive house of Lenovo.
