Micromax launched its flagship smartphone Yureka Plus on Monday, with a price tag of Rs 9,999. The company claims to be Yureka Plus is a next-generation version of Yu Yureka smartphone. Micromax’s official partner, Amazon India to conduct its first flash sale on Friday and the registration of the smartphone opened on Monday.
The handset runs on Cyanogen OS, Cyanogen OS 12, based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The device also offers dual-SIM support, with slots for Micro-SIM cards (4G+3G) and features Cat. 4 4G LTE connectivity.
The Yu Yureka Plus features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display which is termed as higher as compared to its predecessor Yureka smartphone that has a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display. And the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Similar to Yureka, the Yureka Plus is powered by 64-bit octa-core snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) which is clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The handset features a 2GB RAM.
A 13-megapixel autofocus camera with an LED flash is featured on Yu Yureka Plus along with a front-facing 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera on board, while, the storage memory is of 16GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card support (up to 32GB), and the handset is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
The Yu Yureka Plus comes with accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope, and Connectivity options like, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack are also included. The devices are available on flash sale which is to be conducted on Friday at Amazon India and that comes in Alabaster White and Moondust colour variants.
