Micromax Yu Yureka Review- A Good Bargain

Micromax Yu Yureka.It is a known fact that Micromax has a strong foothold in the gadget arena. Although, recently Xiaomi has been hogging a lot of attention. To combat the competition , Micromax looks forward to outdo Xiaomi by introducing a smartphone that is heavy on specifications and light on pockets. Micromax has went ahead launching not just a smartphone, but a brand. The new Yu Yureka smartphone, priced at RS. 9000, operates on CyanogenMod version of Android. With making the smartphone available exclusively on Amazon, Micromax is surely being inspired by Xiaomi’s sale tactic. The initial attention after the launch will be preserved by introducing only a few handsets at the first go.


The device is almost similar to the under Rs. 10,000 Android smartphones. The design doesn’t steal the thunder much but the construction takes the cake. It comes with a rubberised matte finish, that is delightful.

The smartphone operates on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. To add up, the user also gets CyanogenMod OS 11 customisation. Swiping through homescreens , menu navigation and other such operations are pretty smooth and less fussy.


For a smartphone that costs Rs. 9,000, the Yu Yureka is quite an achiever as it offers 64 bit Qualcomm chipset. Moreover, the company has promised a doorstep customer service. If a user finds his phone problematic, all he needs to do is register a complain and a company person would pick the handset up and get the issues resolved.
