Motorola launched the second generation of its budget smartphone Moto E in two variants, Moto E (Gen 2) and the Moto E (Gen 2) LTE. The 3G variant of this device is priced around Rs. 7,400 while the LTE variant is priced around Rs. 9,200. Both variants will be rolling in more than 50 countries in Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe!
According to Motorola, new features have been packed with Moto E without a hefty price tag! The devices features improved qualities, and also carries some software features from moto X like the Moto Display and Moto Migrate.
Both variants of Moto E (Gen 2) feature Android lollipop out-of-the-box, and carry 1GB of RAM. Their specifications are completely identical except that the 3G variant has been powered with a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 SoC, while the LTE version has been powered a 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC chipset!
Along with effective chipsets, both variants feature qHD display of 4.5-inches with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and anti-smudge coating! The previous version of this device also featured a qHD display, but its size was 4.3-inches.
Coming to camera qualities, Moto E (Gen 2) has been launched with a 5MP rear camera and VGA front facing camera. Previous version of this device was not packed with front-facing camera, but it looks like Motorola did its homework pretty well. Internal storage of this device has also been increased to 8GB!
Other features of this device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0LE, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. Weight of this device is around of 145 grams, and is effectively backed with an improved battery of 2390mAH.
The device will rolling soon in Black and White variants, but users can easily get interchangeable Motorola bands in colors like Golden Yellow, Turquoise, Blue, Raspberry, Purple and Red.
