Motorola has finally launched its much anticipated smartphone in the Indian market Moto E Gen 2 LTE. This smartphone has been in the news since the day it was announced and finally it is has been unveiled. There was a wide speculation on the price point of this smartphone and putting a check to all rumours emerging this ne smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 7,999. Apart from other impressive features it is one of the most affordable LTE powered smartphone in the market right now. It is packing some best in class features and compared to its predecessor Moto E, this smartphone will definitely woo the Indian customers. It has 8 GB of built in storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB with micro SD card slot.
Moving on to specifications, Moto E Gen 2 LTE runs on latest version of Android OS i.e. Lollipop 5.0.2 out of the box. This new smartphone from Motorola sports a standard 4.5 inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display with a display density of 254 PPI. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection is provided along with anti-smudge coating which is an added advantage.
The Motorola smartphone is powered by a 64-bit, 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. Adreno 306 GPU is there to provide stunning graphics for gaming and videos. Moving on to the camera department the smartphone flaunts a 5 MP camera. Although it lacks LED flash. A front facing VGA camera is available for selfies and video calling.
On the connectivity front Moto E Gen 2 features LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and micro USB. The smartphone weighs only 145 grams and is drawing power from a 2390mAh battery underneath which will give it a descent usage time off charge. As of now Moto E Gen 2 LTE is up for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart. The smartphone is available in two colours: Black and White. Flipkart has listed April 23 as the estimated release date and April 28 as the estimated delivery date.
