Nokia C1 Could Be Nokia’s First Android Phone Made By Meizu

Nokia C1After being sold to Microsoft, market has been filled with rumours about Nokia launching its series of Android devices. The rumours were accurate, at least for the brand’s first tablet- Nokia N1. New set of rumours suggest that Nokia will soon launch an Android smartphone named C1.

The image and some information about Nokia C1 did leak earlier but it seemed nothing more than a hoax. But now we are seeing its connection with a Chinese smartphone maker- Meizu. The MX Supreme’s image has leaked on the internet and it looks very similar to Meizu MX4 Pro.

The rumours suggest that Meizu MX Supreme would be the Nokia C1. As it was seen in the case of Nokia N1 that it was nothing more than a rebranded tablet from a Chinese Factory, Nokia C1 could also follow the same path.

The Nokia N1 ran on a modest chipset made by Intel but this new device from Meizu seems to come with MediaTek SoC to save some cost. Things about the new Meizu device certainly match with the previous leaks. Nokia seems to be continuously working towards coming back to its own space of mobile devices.

But expecting the launch of the device in the near future will surely lead to disappointment, thanks to the deal with Microsoft. But the device seems to be a promising one considering the expertise of both the companies – Nokia and Meizu – in the field of smartphones. The image of the device was posted on Weibo, China’s own social network.
