The services are available with every purchase of the OnePlus 2 and customers will get a manufacturer’s warranty for the device for a year from the date of purchase. After the warranty for the device expires, customers can renew it at Rs. 999. The plan covers all defects that are covered under manufacturer’s warranty for another more year.
The B2X Protect service is priced at Rs. 1, 299 and it covers accidental, physical & liquid damage to the OnePlus 2 device during the first year of the product purchase.
OnePlus competes with Google’s Nexus 6P and with the OnePlus 2, the company has brought the superior specs sheet at relatively lower prices thereby giving an edge over other flagships.
OnePlus 2 offers the metal-frame design that makes it look premium. The device sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display along with a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port, as promised by the company. The fingerprint scanner is faster than the iPhone TouchID and lets you save up to five fingerprints, says OnePlus.
In terms of camera, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel snapper which is a new camera and a new solution that allows you to take 50MP photos and there’s also the slow motion mode.
