Renowned smartphone makers Micromax and Panasonic have launched two new devices around 15k mark. Canvas Selfie, the 13-megapixel shooter, and Eluga U2, the successor of Eluga U are launched in India and Taiwan.
Canvas Selfie with 13MP rear and front-facing cameras accompanied with LED flash modules and Sony sensors will be available in India for Rs. 15,999. It was announced in the month of December, and will be rolling out soon. The device features a faux leather finish, and has been powered with a 1.7GHz Octa-core chipset and 2GB of RAM. The dual-sim phone runs Android KitKat out-of-the-box, and includes 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable to 32GB via micro SD card!
The device also packs a 2300mAh battery to provide optimum support for display and connectivity purposes. It features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, and will be available in Mystic Blue and Angelic White colors.
On the other hand, Panasonic Eluga 2 has been silently launched by the company in Taiwan at TWD 7,990 (approximately Rs. 15,700). For now, there is no update about the global release of this device, but its top-notch specifications have already attracted smartphone enthusiasts!
Unlike Eluga U, its successor doesn’t offers dual-sim support. With single-sim capabilities, Panasonic Eluga U2 features a 5-inch full-HD display, powered with a snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB of RAM. However, Android lollipop out-of-the-box is the biggest highlight of this newly launched device!
Along with excellent hardware support, Eluga U2 also offers a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The 16GB inbuilt storage of this device also offers enough space to store apps as well as media files.
The device has been packed with a 2500mAh battery, and includes standard connectivity options with 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support! Last year, its predecessor was launched at a price point of Rs. 18,990.
Both smartphones offer excellent specs, are sure to create a huge difference in the Indian smartphone market!
