As the second tech event of the year, the MWC 2015 approaches to take centre-stage from 2nd March to 5th March at Barcelona in Spain, all the leading mobile and tech companies are again gearing up their resources and coming up with their latest devices to be launched at the event. After Sony Xperia Z4 and HTC One M9 got all set to be launched at MWC, now is the turn of Samsung.
Samsung is all ready to bring on the much anticipated and awaited Smartphone of 2015 – the Samsung Galaxy S6, possibly on the very first day of the event, which is March 2 at Barcelona. A Samsung executive has been quoted to cite this fact.
Though the executive has not fed any more details about the S6 Smartphone, some rumours claim that the firm has come up with a number of prototypes for the S6 model, but is yet to zero down on the actual one. It can either be a metal-clad Smartphone or may sport a dual-edge display screen.
On the other hand, the other South Korean giant, LG has decided to hold back the launch of their latest flagship Smartphone – the LG G4. Reports suggest that it will not be launched at MWC 2015, as it wants to buy some more time to perfect the device before launching it.
LG had launched the LG G3 on May last year, and thus can afford delaying the launch of G4. But in spite of this delay, LG has announced that they are all set to launch new wearable, IoT devices and the Open webOS Smartwatch which was shown at CES 2015, at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
HTC has already started sending invites for their HTC One M9 launch in March, while HTC has ensured that the launch of their Sony Xperia Z4 is in lieu with their 6-month release cycle, which the company has started. Their last launch was the Xperia Z3 at IFA 2014.
