Targeting at selfie lovers, Sony has launched Xperia C5 Ultra Dual in India, with a price tag of Rs. 29, 990. The smartphone comes in Black, White, and Glossy Soft Mint colour variants, and will be available from Wednesday. However, the single-SIM variant of the smartphone is not launched in the country by Sony.
The Xperia C5 Ultra Dual sports a 13MP front and rear camera with LED flash modules for both the cameras, along with Sony Exmor RS sensor.
As a camera specific smartphone, the device has all the latest tools such as video stabilizer, auto scene recognition, 25mm wide-angle lens, at rear side, that has an 80-degree field view, full-HD video recording, 4x digital zoom, image stabilizer, geotagging, and red-eye reduction.
Xperia C5 Ultra is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. It also includes ARM Mali760 GPU, 16GB internal memory which can be expanded further through microSD up to 200GB.
Contrasting to its Sony’s other premium and mid-range smartphones, water and dust protection is included in the Xperia C5 Ultra, however, it has connectivity options GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G LTE. It is backed by a 2930mAh battery and the handset weighs 187 grams and measures 164.2×79.6×8.2mm.
Earlier this month, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual was launched globally alongside the Sony Xperia M5, but, in India, these smartphones are not launched yet.
