As many budget smartphones out there are boasting 2 GB RAM so it is a little disappointing and slightly on the downside for Redmi 2. Overall it will provide a blazing fast multitasking and gaming experience altogether.

There is a 2 MP camera at the front for selfies and video calling need. Redmi 2 is drawing power from a 2200 mAh removable battery which will keep it running though the day on normal to moderate usage. Xiaomi claims that this battery will charge faster and retain the charge for much longer period of time.

Conclusion

Redmi 2 is priced at Rs. 6999 and offer very impressive specifications in this price segment in comparison to other similarly priced smartphones out there. This smartphone will be competing with the devices like Lenovo A6000 and Moto E 2nd Gen. and is currently among the cheapest 4G enabled smartphones in Indian market. Redmi 2 is an affordable smartphone and no other smartphone offers the impressive features it does at this price. Finally, it will be safe bet and will be a successful smartphone.
