Any time Xiaomi launches a new product, there is super excitement and people just want to try the latest gadget. Very soon, that is on July 27, Xiaomi is going to launch Redmi Note 4 along with two laptops. This will be first time that Xiaomi is venturing in the laptop market in India.
So what’s better in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 compared to it’s a predecessor. Well, it has an upgraded processor and extra battery life. For the first time, Xiaomi phones will have a deca core processor from MediaTek and it is called Helios X20. Interestingly, another smartphone company, Zopo has launched the world’s first deca-core phone, ZOPO Speed 8.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will have a 4100 mAh battery life and, and will have a 5.5-inch HD display, many of the features will remain same as it was in Redmi Note 3. It will have 13 Megapixel back camera and 5 megapixel front camera. According to the Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s global VP, the company has sold 6 lakh units of Redmi Note 3 in India in just 60 days since its launch.
The Chinese giants is also foraying in the laptop market and they will be coming up with a 11 inch and a 13 inch screen laptops. It is likely that all these products will be announced at the July 27 event.
This attempt of Xiaomi is to diversify its product portfolio. In China it has recently launched foldable electric bicycle. It can run up to 40-50 km on one charge. They have also come up with portable mosquito repellent.
Xiaomi usually sells its phone on flash sales and recently in India it sold Mi Max. But after June 30, they have started selling it through regular online channel. They are also planning to sell their phones through offline channels and pretty soon users can go to a store in India to buy Xiaomi Smartphones.
