Samsung has come up with a new smartphone in their Galaxy J series. The South Korean giant announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro on Monday. This phone will be available with smart glow feature for notifications on the back panel. This feature was also present in Samsung Galaxy J2 which was launched earlier this month for Rs. 9,750. Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro price in India will be Rs. 9,890 and will be available at Snapdeal in Gold, Silver and Black Colour.
So, what is new in this smartphone. The difference between two smartphones is in the storage and memory.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) has 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage where as Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The similarity is that both the smartphones can expand their storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). Also another thing similar is Turbo Speed Technology (TST). This feature helps to load apps upto 40 percent faster.
The rear camera is 8 megapixel and the front camera is 5 megapixel. Both cameras have an aperture of f/2.2. Its other features are similar to Galaxy J2. The Smartphone is a dual sim, a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) Super Amoled display. It also has 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2600mAh battery.
So what is so special about the smart glow feature? Well, it serves the basic function of showing notifications about missed calls, low battery or full charge. However, the interesting function is the selfie assist. So whenever you take selfie using rear camera the smart glow will illuminate when it detects your face. So, through this feature, people can take selfies using the more powerful rear camera instead of the front camera.
